I had an appointment for 2pm. I was in the waiting room and at 2:45pm I was not called . I went to the receptionist to ask why I had not been called and she said she would check. She said Dr Henchy was running behind. I asked how long will it be ? She said she wasn't sure but could move me into one of the patients rooms. I said that is fine but if she doesn't see me within 15 minutes Im leaving. I have a schedule of my own. I was placed in a room and I told the nurse the same thing. My latest visit with Dr Doerr was typically outstanding. From check-in, completing essential assessments and checkup with Dr Doerr, the process is outstanding. Minimal waiting after each step is the norm at this office. Never feel rushed when visiting Dr Doerr as he is thorough and he clearly communicates information in understandable terms.
In and out in a timely manner. The staff is friendly and efficient. Dr Doerr is a great doc. Very personable and always greets with a smile. Takes time to listen and is always professional.
You don’t go to a neurologist because you have a sniffle or a tummy ache; you go to a neurologist because you have a potentially serious and often very scary issue. Dr. Henchey is a no-nonsense doctor who understands that fear and whose expertise and proficiency are immediately apparent. Combine that with her take-charge comportment and you have exactly what you both want and need from a neurologist. Dr. Doerr is great, keeps you well informed, appointments are timely, No or little wait time. Good follow up from staff.
Her People skills are the worst we had Ever experienced. During more than one visit she would start asking questions that obviously had to do with another patient file. Then she would just walk out of the room (unannounced) and come back with our file. My wife had a blood test and less than 2 weeks later had a seizure. Dr Henchey refused to see her till she got Another blood test. The Dr spoke to my wife as if she was not worthy of us seeing her. I have never, ever had a worse experience with a Dr!! Do not use her
