it is a nice place, but when I went there it was dry. Even with a lot of rain it doesn't' get green.
Every Spring-March to May this place is filled with yellows as far as the horizon. Love to visit this place when I am around with friends. Be sure to come as early as possible to be able to soak its beauty. Please mind the rattlesnake. . .
Its so beautiful, one of the few things I miss living in the the Antelope Valley
I left the Antelope Valley and I do so miss it very much. I miss the stars at nite the wide open spaces to me it was very spiritual as I lived in the foothills at 4000 ft.
Being an Indian I must say its wonderful... Though we do have one natural Valley of Flowers too in Himalayas . You guys should visit here ....
ATTN. GO DRIVE TO HI VISTA ITS FREE UTS BEAUTIFULL AVE. G FROM 140TH EAST - 200TH ST. EAST. THEN ALSO GOTO Phacelia Wildlife Sanctuary on 200th east (its a dirt road in great dtiving cond.) And ave. D. Then also goto Butte Valley Wildflower Sanctuary on 200th east and east ave. I then goto saddleback East ave. J AND 170TH FOR BATHROOMS AND PICNIC. These 3 are all in Hi Vista in a 6 mile radious.
