Depending on the year, the Antelope Valley California Poppy Reserve can be beautiful during wildflower season, or STUNNINGLY beautiful. Come on a weekday to avoid the biggest crowds and the traffic, drive slowly and watch for pedestrians as you get close to the Reserve, and STAY ON THE TRAILS to preserve the flowers for future years and future generations!

Beautiful two mile stretch of poppies with the fresh air coming out at us. Best part no commercial stores or restaurants within the park. Make sure to bring your own lunch, sunscreen & a hat. Poppies only bloom for a few weeks so hurry and check it out before it’s over:-) 🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼

I recommend that the people who visit respect the land and the wildlife that lives in the poppy fields. Please dont walk on the poppys or worse, pick them. How can there be any poppies left for people to enjoy if everyone is walking all over them or picking them? All because people want a cool picture or souvenir........no respect for the people who come to the park before you or after you. Act like a decent human being, is it that hard?
