RecommendedIt’s a beautiful relaxing place. Come with good warm clothes. Up there, it can be windy and cold. Go early not late because they flowers close themselves in the afternoon. Be ready for a good hike up the mountain. $10 parking. They have picnic tables as well.
The trails to be close up the poppies but please stay on the trails. Please do not doom the bloom!!!

Last time I was there was 5 yrs ago. Hope it will be an EPIC BLOOM this year. The butterflies are wrecking my truck grill and windshield, out here on the East End! (Saddleback/Butte Valley Wildflower Sanctuary}. Surrounded by stunning green carpet/wildflowers.Come, next week, gonna need major antihistamine!
Great to see all the flowers the staff was very busy and had a great attitude with so many people in line beautiful weather
If you come out here please follow the rules. DON'T GO OFF THE TRAILS! You kill present and future blooms. AND THERE ARE RATTLESNAKES OUT HERE! Every year there's quite a few people that break the rules gets bitten...
