Our experience with one of the psychiatrists at Sharp Mesa Vista was not only disappointing—it was alarming. The psychiatrist met with a young patient for barely 5 to 10 minutes. In that short time, he asked no meaningful or in-depth questions, rushed to a diagnosis, and changed her medication without taking the time to understand her history or emotional state. He routinely checks my apnea machines, takes a detailed history and thoughtfully makes recommendations how to best improve my sleep quality.
