We stayed here for our 7 year anniversary - and the idea behind the hotel is super cool. However, the rooms are not being maintained well or upgraded in any way. There are multiple decor/furniture items that are are very worn & some broken. The tub in ours was dirty, and the buttons for the jets were broken. The shower ran (not just a drip) constantly with hot water the entire time, so not only was it loud, but it made the room feel like a humid sauna. My husband and I loved our stay. Best place to spend our anniversary. Staff were friendly and it was very quiet
The room themes are fun and really well done of course. Our toilet handle was broken though and there wasn't much privacy separation with the toilet. Breakfast tasted good but there wasn't much to it. Very lacking in options and quantity.
I loved the location, the theme and the idea of this hotel. We originally booked the Rich’s drive in which is a diamond suite the highest tier you can book. And before we were there even 3 hours our room started flooding and water was looting from the ceiling. The lady at reception did not seem to care at all, she ended up swapped us rooms to the African safari, an emerald room, a tier down from diamond which should be 10-20$ cheaper.
