I have been seeing Dr. Annette Sims for many, many years. Her face-to-face time is extremely brief. She knows her business about your eyes however over the years she has gotten more and more rude! She is not very receptive to questions and will flat out tell you to stop talking. She actually blamed me for her technician giving me the wrong dialation drops (milder drops). She has turned into a fly-by doctor. Her technicians are horrible at giving prescriptions and are usually wrong. Then they will charge you again to get a co... read more

She seemed confident, but seemed rushed and not easy to talk with.

If you can handle someone treating you like you're wasting their time, interrupts your question with " I don't care" and completely demeans you with every word. Go for it. Otherwise go somewhere else because her lack of "people" skills is beyond anything I've ever seen. None of these reviews will help change her attitude because she's an owner of the clinic. The staff at this clinic & the surgery center are super nice and answer questions clearly. I really appreciated all of them. Dr. Sims needs to go into research or someth... read more

I feel so lucky to have Dr Sims and Amber at my side with my last operation. I got a little nervous in the operating room but I new my two friends were right at my side taking care of me!

Dr Sims us rude, arrogant, and kept interrupting me when I asked her questions which she didn't answer. This was the worst Dr patient experience I've ever had! I would never reccomend her to anyone.

Dr. Sims has probably the worst bed-side manner of any doctor I have ever seen. I went to see her two years ago with complaints of flashes of light and increased floaters only to be told "You and every one else your age". Without coming right and and saying I was a hypochondriac - that's exactly how she made me feel. Now, two years later and experiencing worsening eyesight, I went to a different doctor and guess what? I have detaching retinas on both eyes and cataracts. I've suffered two years with declining vision. I wouldn... read more

Mom had her glaucoma "treated" by this "doctor" who thinks she's better than actually good doctors. She had an extremely rude and curt disposition and absolutely no bedside manners to speak of. Truly gifted doctors whom we've had the pleasure of being tended to who were graduates of accredited medical schools had amazing manners, those degreed from Harvard, John's Hopkins, OHSU, Yale, Stanford, Chicago Med, etc, but not this subpar, below average, run of the mill, and what seemed to be a Flori

I have seen Dr Annette Sims twice. The first time I saw her she spent less than 5 minutes with me. The second time I saw her she rushed in, and this time I had come prepared with a list of questions. Her body language was tense and she was again abrupt in her manner. Some of her answers satisfied my questions, but some did not and were vague. She seemed impatient to the point of almost hostility, and it was clear she wanted to be out of there. I will not be visiting her again. Thumbs down!

After filling out some paperwork, I was shown to an exam room before my scheduled appointment time. The examination took about an hour. Dr. Sims and her staff were very pleasant, knowledgeable and listened to my questions, concerns and suggestions. Dr. Sims explained the results of her examination and treatment options. In one visit, I now have contact lenses that have corrected my vision. Thank you Dr. Sims, I am looking forward to “seeing” you again.
