I have been going to Camelback Healthcare for 3+ years. I have had three annual checkups, a pregnancy test when I found out I was pregnant, and they found my Hashimoto's Disease before I even felt the effects. I had always been seen in a timely manner, treated with care, and left feeling heard. However, I will absolutely not be returning because of the owner of the practice- Dr. Reed. Dr Reed is my primary care physician and is fantastic. She listens and does not rush through my appointments. At times when I have had an urgent situation and Dr Reed was booked, I have used her colleague, Dr Lee and I'm pleased with her as well. The office staff is usually very helpful and it is extremely convenient having the phlebotomist right there on site.
I went to this office for the first time Feb. 25. Scheduling was easy, wait time was short, staff was friendly, and office was clean. My actual appointment was great. I felt listened to and that my needs were being met. I got blood work done, right in the office. I have never had a better experience with blood draws before. I was called the next week for a follow up and was able to come the next day. She did not feel comfortable with some of the results and had another blood test. I was seeking a basic preventative screening and the doctor's review and completion of specific documents. My visit was very disappointing and incomplete. First, I scheduled well in advance to see a doctor. When I arrive at 8am for my appointment, I learn the doctor will not be in the office until the afternoon and I have to see a nurse. I have been a patient to Dr. Reed along with my 4 family members for more than 10 years. She is a wonderful caring Doctor but her practice has grown to the point that I have not seen her in over a year. Her business manager wrote me the most impersonal letter regarding a past due balance and gave me and my family the boot over a mutual error on both parties.
