Dr. Lin is an excellent physician. She is kind and empathetic towards her growing patients, while understanding the complexity of pediatric mental health. She is knowledgeable about difficult prescribing, while being conservative in dosing. I highly recommend her.
Dr. Lin did an outstanding job working with our child and the psychologist. She's empathetic, reliable, and intelligent. Update: Our challenging child eventually developed better social skills and positive ways to channel his boundless energy. He is now fully grown, well-mannered, and able to handle/master stressful situations. He's become a practicing environmental attorney in NY. Dr Lin is a critical thinker and was willing to look outside the box for solutions. She’s very committed and very responsive.
This doctor is an absolute joke. She only sees you as her patient if you convince her you are not a liability. She has no empathy, and not once since “working” with her has she made any effort to truly understand my personal needs. Do not waste your time.
You will definitely be treated like a child. Her speciality is serving adolescents and I honestly feel really bad for children seeing her. They don't have much of a voice I cannot fathom how she must treat children because as an adult patient she has been awful to me. She uses her power to prescribe medication and then not...most definitely in a biased way. She has her mind made up and you have very little say in YOUR treatment.
