I understand healthcare schedules can run behind, but being over an hour late for a scheduled appointment is extremely frustrating and shows a lack of respect for patients’ time. I work in healthcare myself, and if I had stayed any longer I would have been late for my own patient, which is something I would never do. Unexpected delays happen, but communication and time management need significant improvement.
I'm not sure what took me so long to leave this review, but here goes anyway: Dr. Conlin is great. I had a significant sinus issue (I'm sure she's seen worse, but it was severely affecting my quality of life). As I had jumped through the proverbial hoops with other ENTs, she didn't make me suffer all of that again. I got the impression she very carefully considered my position, and then gave me all available options. With her advice, we picked surgery - which was 100% the correct way to go for me. Dr conlin is the best ear doctor she’s really nice and polite she just did a surgery on me last week she did a tympanoplasty she did an amazing job I was so nervous before my surgery and she discussed everything before I went into the operating making me calm
She seems nice enough, but she told me that the only options for my treatment were hemi thyroidectomy or watch and see. She told me that the surgery had a 10% chance of causing me hypothyroidism. She told me that it might be cancer and was going to just send me for surgery. I requested testing which was inconclusive. She referred me to a surgeon who was no better.
