Dr. Colabro had been my doctor for nearly 15 years with Scripps. She is an amazing doctor who listens patiently, knowledgeable and provides the best solutions for any problems. I had developed such trust in her that I believed that she could fix any problems I will ever have. I am really bummed that she is no longer practicing. I did not get a chance to say "bye' and "goodluck" to her.
My husband has gone to Dr. Calabro as his primary physician for many years. She is an outstanding doctor; knowledgeable, kind, factual, and patient. We cannot recommend her highly enough.
Dr. Annamarie Calabro is a very knowledgeable and attentive physician. Her nursing staff is excellent and her administrative staff are very friendly and helpful.

I had to wait about two hours to be seen. Doctor Calabro ordered a series of tests, which I did. As the results came I requested her opinions and comments about my results. I wrote to her THREE TIMES! She NEVER ANSWERED. If this is her level of care she has for her patients, she'd better find a different profession. I have never been treated so poorly! This is my first experience with Scripps, and I believe it is also the last one.
Dr. Calabro was my primary practitionner for about 20 years, until I moved from San Diego to Nevada last year. She is extremely knowledgeable (I have a life sciences PhD) and takes the time to listen and explain. Trained in internal medicine, she will know all the possible related issues to your illnesses, and she uses that knowledge proactively. I had an inflammatory condition with possible heart consequences, and we found out about those far before they became an issue. Strongly recommend.
I've been going to Dr. Calabro for 15+ years. She is amazing, highly engaged, thoughtful and caring about my health and also my family and everyone's well being. She is very current on most medical issues and pharmaceuticals on the market, even steered me away from the Vioxx my orthopedic doctor prescribed once upon a time, well before it was pulled off the shelf. I always get a quick appointment for urgent matters, if not with her, with her staff. I've referred MANY people and they all agree.
My wife and I have gone to Dr. Calabro for 20+ years, she is very competent and caring. We strongly suggest her and appreciate all that she has done for us.
