Maureen Schmersal is absolutely horrible. Worst medical experience so far. Finding a new provider ASAP.
Dr. Berent is knowledgeable and kind in a way that embodies what healthcare should be. He goes out of his way to ensure his patients are comfortable and informed as well as takes time to know his patients other than their symptoms or conditions. I've been seeing this doctor for 15 years and so has all my family and friend he and his staff is great, I too have thyroid he is great, no problems. good with DM, HTN, and with my parents cancer I would recommend him to all who need a good doctor
I was suffering from severe chest pain and went to Dr. Sun's office. He immediately made the correct diagnosis and referred me to the hospital for an angiogram. I received a stent and was discharged one day later. The chest pain was completely gone and I was able to return to work. Dr. Sun saved me and I will always be grateful to him.
One of the worst doctors I've ever seen. She was so insensitive to my anxiety/ PTSD around getting checked for my IUD pain. She ended up not even checking me to see if anything was wrong and said to get it taken out later if I wanted. I would never go see her again and I would tell anyone who asks about her that she is one of the worst doctors with no bedside manner or real concern for a patients possible condition. She said I was fine without even examining me!
I had a bout of Diverticulitis and Dr. Altschuler took very good care of me. He's in and out, but he knows what he is and the right meds to put you on. He had his nurse check up me on alot. You have to wait awhile for him, but he is worth the wait. You have to tell a doctor to sit down and talk to you or they all come in and out.
I went to Dr Altschuler after I broke my collar bone because I was concerned about the large bump I had protruding from my chest . He told me from across the room that %99.99 of people complain about a bump with this type of break and then he left the room.I then went to an Orthopedic Dr who told me that the bones had bypassed and that the end of the clavical was pointing outwards and that I needed surgery. Wasn't interested in me as a person. Impatiently Shot questions at me. If I didn't answer quickly, went on to the next one. Like "hurry up & fill in the blanks lady. I'm on a schedule & your taking my time". I told him I'm overly sensitive to medication & anasthesia would lay me low for a couple of weeks. I asked if he would consider allowing me to use hypnosis instead of anasthesia. He took it as a personal affront. "I'VE BEEN DOING THIS FOR 32 YEARS!" Do not waste your time going to see her. I was early to the appointment and had to wait for over 40 minutes to see her with a bunch of disgusting pregnant women. I understand that women who choose to breed have crazy hormones & probably need extra time and attention for this but other patients deserve the courtesy of knowing when the doctors are running behind schedule 40 MINUTES!!!
