Incredible atmosphere and cocktails - Jonathan was a champ, lovely human! Dina was delightful, a Québécoise in Washington with lovely hospitality and recos! Highly recommend!
Overall, it was a a poor experience. This is evident from the shady-looking characters greeting you at the entrance, the waiter's rushed service giving the impression that they wanted you to leave as quickly as possible, pouring only a finger's width of wine into the glass, the meat not being cooked to the requested level, and the portions being excessively small. Only the bread was good, and they should serve regular butter instead of sweet butter.
I visited Annabelle for the first time last night, and I had the best meal I’ve had in a long time. We were welcomed by Madeline, who opens the door and greets you with the warmest welcome. More restaurants in DC need to take note. From the bartenders, to the hosts, to the waiters, they seem genuinely happy to be there and even happier that you’re there. Not to mention, the food, wine, and cocktails are wonderful. I can’t wait to go back!
Swanky spot, beautiful interior and attentive service. Delectable drinks and plates. Plan to spend a little change here or just grab one of their appetizers.
