Everyone was AMAZING!!! My son broke his arm at a nearby playground and was taken to Lurie's. Extra extraordinary care from everyone. He ended up getting a GI Virus on top of the surgical repair for his arm. He/we received excellent care / information from everyone we dealt with!! Even our 6 year son was happy with the care he received from "my hospital". I would recommend @[167818016571872:Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago] to everyone I know!! Thank you for such amazing care for my baby!!

We originally saw Dr. Madallozzo at the Westchester location. He and his staff were very nice, he spent time with us and made sure we understood everything. We scheduled surgery which he wanted us to do at the downtown location. The day came and we arrived, everyone from vallet to check in super friendly. My daughter who is 13 never had surgery before became nervous and nurse Mary called Child Specialist Bessie and Rebecca who calmed her down and even went into the OR with her held her hand until she was in dreamland. Amazing hospital! My daughter who was born with cerebral palsy and has had at least a dozen major surgeries there since she was a baby....she's 21 now. I would NEVER think of even taking her anywhere else. They have our trust and their orthopedic surgery department from surgeons, to anesthesiologists, to nurses and staff....and of course the facilities are without compare.
