Dr. Sharma office was unprofessional. I scheduled an appointment with the doctor as a first time patient. I received a confirmation number replied back to the confirmation with a date of January 23rd for 1:pm. When I arrived the rep at the front desk said the office tried to call me to reschedule the appointment for August. I never received a call not even as much as a text, email. or a voice message about rescheduling. Very unprofessional and very disappointed.
I've been going to her probably 20 years and she's always did well by me! I recommend her highly!
I made an appointment as a new patient back in May. I have been waiting three months for the appointment because that was the earliest that they could schedule me. I was annoyed back then, because I wanted to see a doctor because I think I have a medical issue. I began going to Dr. Sharma during the pandemic. Her office is well run, appointments well timed, and care is available for unexpected problems. As a nurse, I have high expectations of my physicians and Dr. Sharma is a great choice.
I am new to the area and need a new primary care physician and have been having a health concern that I needed looked at right away. It took me 5 months to get in for my new patient visit. I explained to the receptionist that I would not be able to make it 30 minutes prior to my appointment but I could do 15 minutes prior since I live an hour away. I'm new to the area and needed a doctor to maintain my chronic illness. Booked a physical and the wait is 5 months. Because I have ulcerative colitis and have been hemorrhaging for a couple months and running out of meds, I booked an appointment with Dr Chu's office today. Receptionist was one of the worst I've ever seen. Berated me for the better part of 10 minutes that I should have come in earlier (there was still plenty of time to do paperwork and for them to enter it, there was at least 20 minutes before appointment). Finally, after 10 minutes of being harassed, I motion for the clipboard (because at this point I could have done the paperwork twice) and she gets even more offensive. Dr Sharma was on time and listened to us. She is knowledgeable, kind and compassionate.
I am new to the area and was looking for a Primary Care and Dr. Sharma was in my insurance group. After reading reviews, I contacted her office to schedule an appoint and was able to get one that fit my schedule. Dr. Sharma was not only very personable and friendly, but she took the time to review my charts and history, ask questions, and get additional information I hadn't thought about.
