I first saw Dr. Schmidt a few years ago for a second opinion after my dentist of fifteen years told me I needed more than $6000 of work. Dr. Schmidt let me know that he found nothing to warrant this. I switched dentists. My teeth are in great shape. I’m thankful for the great work Dr. Schmidt and his staff do, for their professionalism, and mostly for his integrity. An aside - he is a very talented artist. I enjoy seeing his work in the office.
My root canal was done with exceptional precision and quality, according to the dentist who looked at the xray of the work Dr Schmidt did about 10 years ago when I lived in Ann Arbor. It made me happy to know I have such masterful dentistry in my mouth!
Dr. Schmidt and his staff are excellent. They've done a great job with expedient cleanings/checkups and also catch some subtle signs of certain issues, such as teeth grinding. Additionally, they are friendly and courteous people. I would keep going if I hadn't moved out of state!

If you are looking for a dentist that is friendly professional and makes you feel like one of the family! Then Ann Arbor Family Dental is the place for you. I went to see Dr. Schmidt to have some cosmetic work done. He exceeded my expectations! Dr. Schmidt takes the time to listen to what his patients want and he delivers! I would highly recommend Dr. Schmidt for all of you dental needs!
Dr. Schmidt is an awesome dentist. He's great with patients that are anxious/scared to see the dentist. I recommend him to everyone!!
