On January 8 I had lapiplasty with Dr. Kaufman. Since the procedure, my incision has been infected at least twice and I still have a painful bump at the top of the incision. I’ve been back six or seven times for follow-ups, received a steroid shot directly in my foot, and at my last appointment Dr. Kaufman said, “Wow — even your surgeon is stumped.” Today I had a 3:15 appointment to have the incision re-opened for a third evaluation. Friendly staff overall. Dr. Richard Kaufman was certainly prepared ahead of my visit with respect to my medical history yet offered me the opportunity to tell all in my own words.
