I highly recommend this store. on a cold winter evening after 5 I called at least ten business places to try to by a part for the furnace and was repeatedly told I'm sorry we just closed and we dont have your part so we will have to order it. then I called ankeny. we determined I would not be able to make it there before closing time but they volunteered to hang around till I got there. they had my part and an opportunity for an upgraded part. they have experience with what they sell and care about providing a service rather... read more
Extremely knowledgeable and honest.
Buyer beware I brought in a Stihl chainsaw with less than six hours of run time on it the piston burned up and they will not warranty it said it was a fuel mixture problem which is not true because I use only stihl products and mix it exact and they didn’t even put my saw back together handed me my saw and a bag of parts I run my trimmer on the same gas can and no problems with it

This place was awesome! I looked everywhere for an A/C... All the big name stores... Sold out! Ankeny Hardware had plenty of them! I am stoked with my new A/C & other little miscellaneous things I bought from them. I agree... Forget the big name stores & go see these guys!!
