The staff at Ankeny Family Dental Center is so nice and personable! I have hated going to the dentist since I was little. When I moved to Ankeny, I knew I needed to see a dentist but was terrified of going to a new team. After my first visit, I wasn’t scared to come back and felt like I fit in with this group! I have been a patient here for almost 2 years and I will continue to come back.
I came to Ankeny Family Dental about 2 years ago after my dentist had really screwed up a couple of my teeth. I had to have two teeth pulled and one implant inserted. Dr. Gelfond has taken very good care of me since I first started coming to him. He has fixed all the previous mistakes on my teeth and has worked proactively with me to prevent new cavities or issues. Dr. Gelfond always has a great bedside manner and is always concerned about my safety and comfort! Gotta love him!!
I recently had a dental procedure done by Dr. Lensch. Even before the appointment I was filled with so much anxiety. I was greeted and comforted when I arrived. My teeth were clenched, tears were flowing. I wanted to share my experience, because I was treated so well, and comforted during the entire 2 hour appointment. I’ve been coming to Ankeny Family Dental center for about a year now and I will not go anywhere else. From the moment I walked in I felt welcome and cared for. The front desk help is amazing, friendly and very helpful. I’ve had a couple of different hygienists that cater to your every need, and make sure you’re comfortable. Dr. Lensch is an amazing dentist. I've gone to this dentist following Dr Jagnandan since he started on Easton Blvd many years ago. He brought in Dr Lynch after being in Ankeny and now Dr. Gelfond. I have trusted them all these 40+ years with my family and all my grandchildren. They are extremely knowledgeable, very experienced and keep the communication for all situations open.
I recently visited for the first time and had a great experience with Casey and Dr. Gelfond. I have decided to switch here (along with my 5 kids) after driving to Pleasant Hill to see our regular dentist and hygienists. The service is great and my kids loved coming here to see Casey.
I’ve gone here for about two years now and every time it’s a pleasant visit! Dr Lensch, his assistant Crystal, and all the hygienist are awesome! I highly recommend if you’re looking for a dentist you choose this place !
