If you’re ever faced with having to choose an oncologist/hematologist for treatment and care you would be in the best hands with Dr. Meerasahib! He has been my oncologist for 7+ years. Dr. Meer has been compassionate and sincerely concerned about his patients care. I have been his most difficult patient and not because of his lack of care for my well-being. I have neither seen nor viewed images that confirm a diagnosis of Stage 4 thyroid cancer as they are not available to patients as in other venues apparently. I do not doubt the diagnosis but prefer another opinion if possible. M.D Anderson first diagnosed metastasis and had I returned there would have been shown results as on the first diagnosis. Dr. Meerasahib always has a smile and takes time with you. He listens to you and how you feel and things you are doing for your health. He also makes sure you understand everything he has gone over with you. He truly cares for you.
Very cordial and pleasant. Easy to talk with, show a personal concern for me and my wife. He has been my doctor for over 10 years. Very please with his attention to detail concerning my case.

Dr Meerasahib chose to START with the most severe treatment for my non-lifethreatening condition instead of trying other less invasive treatments first that had far fewer very bad side effects
