My husband and I love Dr. Lucas and his staff. They were the only ones that took care of our teddybear when one else would. Now he sees our other two dogs and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Great place, brought my new puppy for first round of shots. Very nice and explained everything. A few hours later, my puppy hurt her leg and the dr was at lunch, he actually immediately came back to check her leg. Now that is caring.
These people are SOO nice! Don't get all the negative comments. They take in abandoned dogs and keep them safe until they can be fostered-! And do this for free! By the way, I've known lots of vets, and this guy is great! You're lucky to have them in wentzville. They took care of my little schnauzer until I could bring him home. Go, Animal Talk! You guys rock!
I love Dr. Lucas and his staff. They are always kind and loving towards my pet and me. Anyone who says differently has never seen their compassion towards a sick animal.
Excellent vet and professional staff!!! I cannot speak to the pet shelter aspect since I've only interacted with the veterinarian side of Animal Talk. With that said, my wife and my two boxers, Thor and Loki, have been going there since we adopted them last summer. Every single staff member that we have ever interacted with has been nothing but kind to us and nothing but great to our boys. Appointments have been made with little notice and they've always fit us in add to that Dr. Lucas has a 24 hour emergency on call number.... read more
I wrote a review about the care my dog received while at this shelter for 10 days and for some strange reason it is no longer there.. We I picked her up she was full of feces from head to toes looked as if she laid in a cage and used the bathroom on herself, smelled worse then anything I ever smelled.Was very week and lost about 15 pounds took her almost a week to get back on her feet once we got her cleaned up and she started eating and drinking again. I will NEVER have another animal at that place.
