I have been going to see Dr. Gardsbane at Animal Place for around 8 years and absolutely adore her. Dr. Gardsbane has a calm, quiet demeanor that has always gone over well with my pets, including my very fearful greyhound. She's always gentle with her handling and the staff is as accommodating as they can be with my requests to make exams and treatments minimally stressful.
"I am a foster mom for Small Angels Rescue I foster Mice, Gerbils & Rats The doctors are Amazing. She truly cares for these little guys. And she is quite knowledgeable about the correct care for them. Not easy to find in most Vet offices! Prices are great, and all of the girls who work there are caring and Always Very pleasant. Love them! Their staff is always friendly and their doctors are knowledgeable and compassionate. I have been taking my dog there since he was a puppy and from day one he has been treated with patience and love. I am so thankful for finding this place!
Dr. Foster has been wonderful with every animal I've brought to her (total of 6). Her gentleness, compassion, knowledge and skill have made a big difference in the animals' wellbeing, and when nothing could help one any longer, she lovingly and kindly helped the cat out of her suffering. the majority of the acupuncture tx's there have enhanced my animals' q of life to a degree that I felt uplifted and relieved myself, seeing them respond and having less pain. She is a gift to the animals who need her desperately.
Drs. Foster and Gardsbane helped add over 2 years of a good life to my cat, Celty who had developed mammary cancer due to an earlier infection. When the initial hospital told me that there was nothing but radiation (not so good for cats) Drs. Foster and Gardsbane prescribed Chinese herbs and proved them wrong by 2 years! They are very compassionate people and I would do it all again, if I had to.
Superb care - from boarding to wellness to emergency to (unfortunately) euthanasia. Staff is knowledgeable, professional and works as a team - from receptionist to tech to vet. Caring and compassionate environment - my cat became suddenly extremely ill and we had to put him down. The matter was handled better than I could have hoped - great education, options, discretion, and follow up. I am thrilled to have found this team and give them an unqualified recommendation. I came with my boyfriend and his family to put their dog to sleep today. The vet has been helping his dog for many months now always being compassionate and trying every means as to extend his life with the disease he had. The time had come where the dog was in a lot of pain and had to be put down. This place is fantastic. I have found Dr. Foster, in particular, to be absolutely wonderful. She has incredible skills, knowledge, and the ability to look at your dog or cat's issues in a holistic way. She got me through some tough times as my previous dog grew old and accumulated medical problems like they were going out of style! Love the Animal Place.
We've been bringing our dog to Animal Place for four years and couldn't be happier. Everyone is very friendly and kind, you can tell they all care very much for the animals they see. We also board our dog there when we have to leave town and it's great. He always comes home happy and healthy, which is more than I can say for other places we've boarded him. Animal Place is great.
