Dr. McGuire and her staff truly care about your pets like their own family I am saddened to read the negative comments about Dr. McGuire and her practice. I have had completely the opposite experience in the more than seven years that she has cared for our Pomeranian. Unfortunately, our dog has had more than his share of serious health concerns. Honest and Caring I have been a client of this clinic for 7yrs. My beloved pets have always been treated with great care and concern. The prices have been comparable to many other clinics in Utah County. I have been to the clinic many times while adoptions have taken place. The rescued animals have been clean, and received far more care than other shelters/rescues. I have been very impressed with the knowledge the staff has and how much they help the clients. AGREE WITH PUPPY MILL COMMENT WELL I DON'T KNOW ABOUT THE HIGH PRICES AND LOUSY VET SERVICE BUT I DO KNOW SHE IS DEFIANTLY MAKING MONEY BREEDING AND SELLING DOGS THEN HAS THE NERVE TO USE THE WORLD RESCUE TO GET PEOPLE IN THERE CHARGE AN ARM AND A LEG FOR DOGS THAT SHE BRED. ITS A SHAME REALLY! IT SOUND LIKE SHE MAY HAVE POSTED A FEW COMMENTS HERSELF!
Basically a puppy mill! My mom and I went to look at the puppies they had for adoption here for my grandma and we were completely shocked! These were not rescued animals for adoption but puppies the hospital had bred and were selling! They were charging outrageous prices on these dogs. Apparently they are breeding all sorts of small breed dogs and saying they are "health checked" so they can charge ridiculous amounts of money ($600-$1000) and some were mixed breeds! overpriced I would never reccomend this vet. We were charged $145 for an x-ray we didn't need and overcharged for the other services we did recieve. Over $300 for an x-ray and a few shots with no operation or procedures is too much. They are priced higher than anywhere else I have seen.
Great clinic!!! They are average priced and the Dr.'s truly care about your animal. We've taken all of our pets here for years and they've always received top notch care. If you really want to make sure that your animal is taken care of, I wouldn't go anywhere else but here.
Disagre with previous review! I could not disagree more with the prior review. I reccomend the clinic above all others. The staff, especially Dr. Mcguire are loving and caring with the animals and give them the best care imaginable! As far as the clinic being over priced, that is just not true, I would suggest you shop around and see for yourself, this clinic is very reasonably priced. Don't go here Please don't go here this vet office is so bad, they don't care about you or your animal. And they charge alot more than any other vet I have called. They tried to run tests that were not necessary, and they missed the huge ear infection that my dog had. Two days later when I went back to have my dog nurtured they finally found the infection and then tried to put him on 5 medications!!!! and the medications were all for the same thing.
