1. Took my shar Pei here to have his anal glands removed. 6 months later,I took him to his new vet to find out his anal glands are, in fact, still intact and working. Honestly, I’m not sure what they actually done, because he did come home with stitches in his butt.... 2. Around the same time, took my other shar Pei here to have a knee surgery done....she came home with a severe ear infection that took Catossa Small Animal vet 3 months,two surgical ear flushes and a lot of antibiotics to heal. Animal Medical Center is a very professional and caring place for families who find themselves in need of a veterinarian.
Absolutely awesome practice. Most of the time Vet practices stink (like for real), but this place was clean and full of candles. The staff was awesome and Dr. Gilsleider took care of my pup's damaged claw quickly and efficiently. Sent us home with antibiotics and even reached back out to make sure everything was okay. My wife and I highly recommend this place.
Called to have them come out and humanely euthanize a horse for us. Was very rude on the phone and wanted to charge an outlandish price to do so. Will never ever recommend these people to anyone
SO thankful for Dr. McCarthy! This morning I had to bring in my nigerian dwarf who wasn't able to deliver a huge baby. It was really stuck but after much work, the doctor was able to get it out without having to have a c-section. She was so sweet and helpful and I'm so glad I made the drive to Claremore to see her.
Dr. Gilslider and his staff have been wonderful to our dog Abby as well as her humans. Kind, compassionate, practical and understanding. I would highly recommend this practice.
They were amazing and kind during the hardest part of loving a pet. The fact that they came out to our house to help our fur baby cross the rainbow bridge meant the world to us. Thank you so much.
