My 2 year old rescue went in for rabies shot fell off table with staff present and he was Dead 2 days later per having seizures and Nelson tried to blame on tick and told me to look for it while he was actively seizing! He was an indoor dog in front line!!! I subsequently had to put him to sleep and this facility handed me a tin with literally a fucking doggy bag with supposed remains!!! Don't ever go there!!!!! My 3 know kids were devastated and I am as well, my husband died few years ago and Riley was like an angel
Horrible treatment of my reptile. Then threw me out with no meds for my sick chameleon. Sorry you got called out on the rough treatment and got mad. So you let an animal suffer because of your pettiness.
I love Dr. Nelson and the staff. Always very caring, accommodating and your pet comes first! Dr. Nelson and staff are very experienced professionals who have animals themselves. So they understand when your baby has a problem.

Dr. Nelson & his staff are incredible. (Cornell educated!) My assorted pets have been his patients for over 20 years. He even kept one of my elderly cats in an incubator for a week, trying to help save his life. They have cried with me when one of my fur babies has passed & they have been willing to board & accommodate some of my exotic pets, when I need to travel. The Vets who substitute when Dr. Tom takes a rare week off, are excellent as well. AMC is top notch!
Worst Boarding / Vet experience ever!! Our dog was covered in feces and dirt when we picked him up after boarding for 5 days, had diarrhea, and were told that he was "too aggressive" for their staff to handle and that we should look elsewhere for pet care service in the future! We brought him home, bathed him without any problem. Never again will we use AMC Forest!
