5/5 stars. My boys both see Dr. Buck and she has always been very kind and understanding. My one dog had a bad experience at an emergency vet and now sees vet visits as scary and traumatic- she doesn't hold it against him even if he needs to be muzzled and have three people holding him for blood work 😳 My other dog loves her and she helped walk me through their puppy program to save me money. With coronavirus shutting things down, including annual exams, I wasn't sure if my boys would be allowed to get their bravecto dose. ... read more
Best vet I have in all my years with all the cats and dogs I've had.
ZERO STARS. Low rating applies to Brenda Buck, DVM and her unprofessionalism. The LVTs and patient care reps were absolutely wonderful! So kind, caring, and compassionate. Dr. Buck was very unkind toward me. It seemed she was insulted that I had many questions about her treatment plan (as it was different from my primary vet) and she treated me poorly as a result. Animal Hospital of Rochester can be improved by sending Dr. Buck back to school to learn how to do her job properly and try to learn how to interact with people professionally. There is something seriously wrong with her quality of work, her attitude and the way she treats pets and people. I was sorely misled by all these positive reviews. I'm paying the price financially, but my dog is paying the price physically. I can't stress this enough. DON'T take your pet here.
Dr. Buck and her staff are incredibly caring. I feel fully confident that my animals are getting the best care when there.
My old girl shakes and drools in terror at the vets office and has done so since we got her ten years ago. she has been seeing Dr Buck for about a year now, maybe two. Today she calmly wandered around the waiting room, tail wagging slightly, smelling all the furniture, exploring without a care in the world.
Dr. Buck and the staff at the Animal Hospital of Rochester are amazing. Always so kind, responsive, and willing to work with you no matter what the issue. Dr. Buck’s “bedside manner” is the best, and I always feel like I’m getting straight answers with no BSing or attempts to sell me on products or procedures I don’t need or want. My dogs love coming here, and the office is conveniently located. All that, and the prices are very reasonable!
