I'm posting a review for the Animal Hospital. It's located on Doctor's Drive behind the Mall Movie Theater. We've taken Scout there since she was a puppy. They did all her appointments, spayed her and even groomed her once. They are friendly and obviously care a lot for the animals. Dr. Kate is my fav. They give a 10% military discount and if you buy a year supply of heartworm meds, etc, they give you another 10% off. I had a dog that was diagnosed with diabetes and hypothyroidism. I asked so many questions that were answered more with "we can check that out later" than an actual answer. They were kind enough. But when I sadly had to get her put to rest, they acted like they had no idea who I was (we went in once a week or more to test her blood) and they let us sit in a room for over an hour before even coming to tell me that the doc would be in soon. I have taken my dogs to a lot of different vets. Sometimes I am disappointed and sometimes I think I found the one only to be outraged by a single act of complete stupidity. So when I say I love this vet, I LOVE THIS VET. I drive 30 min to see them and I have 4 other vets closer to me. I have been in a rush and they have met me at the front door immunization in hand! I now bring all my service dogs that we are training here and I highly recommend to all my friends and clients to use the Animal Hospital of Onslow County!
