Super disappointed. Took my dog in to get neutered, which was pretty pricy comparing it to some other areas. The stitches seemed kind of sloppily done. As days went by he had diarrhea, and the surgical site looked infected (which in his discharge notes said to call them immediately about both of these). I called them once they opened for the day concerned about him as his procedure was similar to a spaying/more invasive because he had a retained testicle. RecommendedMy pets have been patients of Animal Hospital of Onslow County for almost 20 years. Dr. Altman and Dr. Corey are phenomenal, and the rest of the staff is very friendly and efficient.I recommend them to anyone and everyone who has fur babies in their family.
I have been coming here for a few years now, the best office staff and Drs! My Diesel and Roxie love it here! During quarantine they came out to the car, they are very professional and kind!
Brought my puppy Scrappy-Doo here today! I requested the same vet used for my Husky although I was very nervous especially not being able to go inside with him but the lady on the phone and the people that came out to get him was so helpful!! They was very patient answering my questions and helping me make the best choice for my puppy!! Thank you for all y’all do!!

We just bought a baby bearded dragon who was not eating well. I was able to get in the same day I called. The staff and dr were super knowledgeable and friendly.
In 10 years of using this vet facility, i will be finding a new vet for my pups treatments. From the over correcting of my dog with a heavy and unwarranted hand to the face and the disparaging comment toward me being disabled. Shows me they are no longer the reliable and compassionate facility they once were. You should be ashamed of yourselves in your treatment of your patients and their pets.
Literally one of the best veterinary practices I have ever encountered. My dogs are my babies and I am so glad I found a doctor for them so close to my home and so wonderful. The entire staff is knowledgeable, compassionate, and understanding. I love that they have walk in hours when something unexpected pops up. One of my dogs needed an unexpected surgery during a walk in appointment and it was done that day without hesitation. As long as I live in Jacksonville I will only bring my pets here.
We have used the services of Animal Hospital on and off for several years. Unfortunately, this past year has been very challenging. We would like to express our eternal gratitude to the doctors and staff, especially to Dr McQuiddy for the gentleness and compassion he showed our Bubbles during his battle with cancer and in helping him cross over.
