RecommendedWonderful doctors, vet techs and employees!! They are the best.
We took both our dogs to get a nail trim. The tech gave them a once over and found a health issue with them that we would not have known about for months.
Dr Behrens and her staff are amazing! My dogs are getting the very best care and I couldn’t be happier. I highly recommend them!

Outstanding care and experience for our animals here. We were recommended by my Aunt and have been taking our dog since she was a puppy (spay surgery, shots, check ups, happy visits, etc.). We decided to start bringing our cat here soon after where she was treated for the last year of her life through multiple geriatric health problems. The veterinarians and entire staff are incredibly attentive and caring- I cannot recommend them enough!
My 5lb Yorkie had dental surgery last week and I couldn’t be happier with the care and comfort he received. I was a nervous wreck, but when I see the techs and doctors carrying him and kissing his little head to comfort him I knew he was in good hands. Thank you Dr. Clark for helping my boy to feel better, 14 pulled teeth later😃 He’s doing great and feeling better than ever!!
Today we had to say goodbye to our pup! I can’t thank Dr Behrens, Annie, cara, and Jenna and the tech ( sorry I can’t remember her name) enough For all being so kind and compassionate! They made a very difficult situation a bit easier. The room was so calm and comfortable I was happy to see they had transformed it from a exam room to a warm and comfortable spot to say goodbye to our beloved boy! Thank you everyone at AHTS!
The Animal Hospital at the Shores is by far THE BEST! They check on my dog constantly, the staff is great. so professional and nice.
Cannot thank Dr. Behrens, Cara and the staff of Animal Hospital of the Shores enough for their wonderful care of our Lucky! Dr. Behrens took great pains to research Lucky's condition (Larangeal Paralysis Polyneuropathy, including Megaesophagus) and always had helpful suggestions and treatment options. Lucky loved everyone here and always enjoyed his visits, usually falling asleep during treatment. Thank you for everything - I will continue to recommend this wonderful animal hospital!!🐾
