We only visited this clinic once. It wasn't for us. The vet insisted we should change to a raw food diet for our two dogs if we were to continue to use him, and we weren't going to do that and didn't feel comfortable with having the choice imposed on us. The facility is spacious but sterile; the service was expensive; and there didn't seem to be much warmth. The front desk staff was very pleasant, though, and the location is convenient. Over the past few years we have looked after several stray or feral cats. As we can, we take them to the Animal Health Center. Dr. Haroush has always been very sensitive to and accommodating of the special needs of these animals. He has been as concerned for their wellbeing as he would be for a pampered housepet's. I really appreciate Animal Health Center in Briarcliff Manor, New York. When there is an emergency situation, they are there twenty four hours a day. If there is a need for a blood test the results are there in twenty minutes, the last veterinarian we used would send out the results. The last time they called us with the results the pet was dead for two days. Thanks. With our current pet he developed a severe bacterial infection in his stomach. Attentive, caring, state of the art technology yet holistic. Dr. Haroush has cared for many of our dogs including critical, life-saving situations - there is simply no one else we trust.
Courteous, attentive staff, huge clean space and knowledgable doctors- what a great place. Oh, and it easy to get an appointment! My cat had an emergency (thorn in his eye) and it was comforting to be seen immediately and be treated by the same doctor who has been his vet from kittenhood.
Our 13 year old Spinone mix passed away unexpectedly one Saturday afternoon in July. Animal Health Center showed great sensitivity in assisting us by taking our pup and arranging cremation. This all happened at approx 6 pm on a hot day. They sent a beautiful card to us with an ink imprint of one of beloved pup's paws. It made for a great memory of a great dog. We highly recommend AHC!!
