After my dog's annual check-up and blood work a clerk there called to say that the dog needed thyroid medication. The vet wasn't available since he's gone and wouldn't be back for a week. I was assured that the medication had no known side effects -- which is not true, as I found out later. 15 minutes after the first dose of the medication my dog, a chi mix, threw up. Pets are pretty amazing, but you have to take care of them. That is one of the best advice that I got from the people in here, they are pretty cool.
Mean Veterinarian, Unpleasant Visit – First thing I noticed about the clinic was that it was unsanitary. There was animal fur everywhere. I received a coupon for vaccinations which I though would be helpful but in the end I received a bill that was way over! Then the doctor told me that my pets needed to get extra tests done which would cost additional money. Dear. Dr. Bishop and staff, thank you for your care and concern. We appreciated the follow-up phone calls to check after his appointments. Thanks, Joe, for carrying the sometimes grumbling kitty back for his shot. Dr, Bishop, we can't thank you enough for the time and effort you spent to consult with other vets. We felt that everything possible was done.
We wouldn't trust anyone besides Dr. Bishop to take care of our Boston Terrier. Dr. Bishop is caring and concientious, meticulous and thorough. He cares about the animals and people. Our dog had a rare condition requiring surgery. Dr. Bishop resolved the problem and thankfully found and fixed his hidden health problem! Friendly and professional staff too!

What a friendly staff, caring and informative Doctor! Would recommend this to all people who consider their pets family member Dr Bishop is very competent plus his bedside manner with us and our dog was exceptional. His office help was also above average, One of the best vets we have ever gone with!
