I tried to make a wellness appointment for my pet here (whom was vaccinated, chipped and neutered here many years ago). Followed the instructions on the website and requested appt by email which said would get a faster response. Someone did respond by email but just to say someone would call me by phone ASAP. I left my phone # and waited 48 hours for someone to call me back. Nothing.... Beautiful place. I'm thankful for no kill shelters. And they are rigorous if you even want to volunteer which is awesome. I really can't complain because their reasoning is sound but they have the doggos closed off with only a few to look at. Makes total sense, but it's sad when the dog can't choose YOU. I was expecting that same experience I had with my boy Brody from the north shore rescue. If ppl could just see these poor dogs in their cages you can't help but bring one home. But I get it.
