RecommendedMy Veterinarian since the 1980’s. Over the years, Dr Nelson has always been ready to care for our fur babies. From the puppy/kitten to senior pet. Their kindness and sensitivity has been appreciated.
Don’t ever go in 30 minutes before close or the doctors and staff will not check you in until after they close and tack on $200 of emergency fees. Would not recommend this animal hospital.
I recommend Blue Hills Animal Hospital PA because they very kindly took care of my cat Little Girl. After a long life she sadly passed. I want to thank them for the lovely card they sent to me afterward. You will never have to worry about your pet in their care. They are in good hands.
Blue hills is amazing. All of their staff are well trained and so attentive. My baby girl suffered an animal attack back in May and required an extensive amount of care. With 20 plus puncture wounds, infection and broken bones. We’d only been to the vet once about 3 days before this happened and they graciously took us in on an emergency and housed Zoey over 4 days and almost daily Vet visits afterwards until she was healed up. We have adopted a couple of senior pups that were taken care of extremely well by Dr. Nelson and the staff - up to and including their passing. Everyone was so very kind and compassionate throughout our grieving and you could tell they truly understood that we had lost a family member. Now, we have 2 younger pups. One has severe allergies that require medication and both require a special diet due to allergies/digestive issues.
