This doctor, staff, and entire laboratory facility are why reviews like this really make a difference!!! We couldn't find a single animal laboratory that performed necropsies that would call us back or take in our beloved pet due to requiring the patient to be already serviced within the hospital. Lab for pets is an absolute treasure for pet necropsy. Our cat suddenly passed away last December and were concerned that she had ingested poison or had other items that would affect our other house pets. So many locations would list that they have necropsy services but had now been discontinued. We called numerous pet hospitals. This is almost the only place that offers it at (and at a very reasonable price.) We received the lab report within a month. We received advance notice within a few days ruling out poison. Words cannot describe the feelings I went through when found out that my 3.5 yr Scottish fold had passed away. Since we had 3 other cats we needed a necropsy report to rule out toxins or trauma (to protect the others). I could not give Lab For Pets a better review... I was HEART BROKEN when my 5 month old puppy died out of no where. I called numerous labs that were fine but pretty to the point and did not do cremation after which was very important to me. Lab for Pets is exceptional ! Working with them has been a great experience in spite of the incredibly difficult circumstances. While out of the country we got a call our young healthy 2 year old Leonberger 100lb pup had suddenly died with no known health issues.
