Clueless in Bay Ridge I brought my cat there 4 times, each time seeing a different vet and all of them failed to diagnosis my cat's cancer, but they charged for all their failed attempts. Brought the cat to another vet who performed the proper tests and diagnosed the cancer on the first visit. They are incompetent, but are very good at taking money.
I think they are aright I brought my 8 wk old Rottie there who has been going water for 2 days. They gave her 2 meds & speical food, called me today to tell me her test was positive & i would need to pick up another med today. They seem on the ball & the wait wasnt bad at all when i was there. This will be Roxys Dr for the rest of her life!!!!
We like it! We have two dogs, and have found the Animal Clinic of Bay Ridge to be our favorite in South Brooklyn (after Dr. G. left Narrows.) I did see one review here that referred to the Animal Hospital on 68th St. / 5th ave, so let's be clear we are talking about the veterinary practice at 689 86th St. Perhaps it depends on which vet is used. We used Dr. Gazi (sp?) till he went to Canada, and currently am happy with Dr. Anurova. They have both been good with the dogs, and have NOT pushed unnecessary tests, special prescri... read more
I DO NOT RECOMMEND! We took our cat there with urinary blockage. After many tests and x-rays etc., the doctor sent us home with three types of medicine and told us that if the cat doesn't urinate within 4 hours to take him to emergency clinic... Luckily, the cat did... Today, six months later, the cat had another blockage. We called to talk to the vet only to be promised a returned call. These blockages will kill a cat if not resolved within 24-48 hours and we were really concerned since it had already been over 24 hours. We... read more
Don't listen to the other two...Very good vet practice... I have never had a problem with this vet. When I had my first dog, it took the vet 15 minutes to come to my house and put her to sleep and out of her misery. Now that I have my second dog, the vets were gentle and upfront with everything that needed to be done. I would recommend this vet to any pet owner...
