Good Vet He is a great vet and his assistant is very nice and helpful. I have been hesitant to take my dog to the vet because she is old and I don't want a bunch of blood work, teeth cleaning, etc. I want her healthy and comfortable for the remainder of her life. I can get the care I need at this clinic without a hefty bill and tons of unnecessary work done.
Good Vet For Basic Needs My family has been using Dr. Turbeville for several years for our two dogs and cat. He is an excellent vet. He knows his stuff and is very affordable and is highly recommended for basic medical needs. However, he does not have the fancier medical equipment like other animal clinics (which trust me, you end up paying for). So if your pet has a very serious illness (I'm looking at you, Suzanne R.), I would recommend taking them somewhere that is better equipped to handle it.
Dangerous Vetrinarian Dr.Turbeville is not at all a good vet. I took my collie to him because my dog was vomiting and not eating. I asked if he would do blood work and was told it wasn't neccesary. He gave my dog a shot of antibiotic and another shot to stimulate him to eat and my dog still wasn't eating. he told me to give him mineral oil and stilll my dog wasn't eating then he told me to bring my dog in to stay with him for 2 days for observation.I finally demanded him to run blood work and xrays and my dog has pancreatiti... read more
Good Vet when not in a bad mood The receptionist I found somewhat helpful. The vet can be really good but he has a different side to him. Only take your pet up there when he is not alone. Another words, when he gets busy and overwhelmed he tends to take it out on the animals.
great vet bad receptionist Dr. Tubeville is a great vet and very agreeable, his receptionist though is very disagreeable and has bad attitude.
Could NOT recommend a better Vet!! Dr. Turberville is an outstanding Vet! There were a few times where he easily could have made money off of me, but instead explained what I needed to do to care for my animals. You can't beat his prices, but more so his service. He sincerely cares about animals & it shows. He is also great with making children laugh & sometimes even getting them involved with the care. Best Yet! The best vet. He's good and I trust him with my pets! I would recommend him to anyone looking for a vet. His prices fit with my retirement income. He explains everything you want to know.
E. 70th Animal Clinic is the BEST My mom and I have taken our animals to several different vets in several cities, but this clinic has been by FAR the best. Dr. Turbeville and his staff Really care about our animals, and have nursed them back to health on many occasions. They're very friendly and we would never go to anyone else.
Awesome Vet- Animal Clinic E 70th I just went there with my miniature weenie and he is the best veterinarian I have ever been too! He doesn't just try to make lots of money off of you, and he is a great vet! Definitely recommend!
