Firstly, disregard the ‘bad’ reviews on here. Those patients clearly are the ‘Karen’s’ who wouldn’t be happy with any physician. I am very meticulous in choosing a doctor and when I came to choose Dr Italiano it wasn’t from lack of research. There comes a time when doctors, lawyers and airline pilots should consider retirement. Erik seems pretty much in a hurry to get your appointment over with so he go to lunch or whatever he deems more important. This is my experience...Scripps Clinic are pretty endemic with hurry up, bill you and refer you on to a specialist where they can bill you double.

During a routine physical Dr. Rhodes discovered multiple masses on my neck. Turns our they were cancer. Had this not been discovered this early I'd likely be on dead or on that path as I had the braf gene for cancer. Dr. Rhodes is amazing.

Dr. Italiano is a very thorough physician. He is a good listener and makes excellent recommendations in ways to improve your health. He is busy but never makes you feel rushed.
What an incredible doctor! Proactive, extremely intelligent, dependable, thorough and truly cares. Blown away by the care I’ve received by him!

I waited for 50 minutes, and then Dr. Izadpanah came in for 5 minutes, asked three questions, and left. He didn't help me with anything—it was a complete waste of a few hundred dollars.
He caused me skin atrophy for prescribing strong steroid cream for indefinite use… I specifically asked if this is ok to use for long term since I looked up side effects, he told me it’s ok just have a 2 weeks break in between. I need to mention that it was a very gentle part of the body in genital area and he prescribed Clobetasol right off the bat! And told me to keep using it… he didn’t offer any alternative safe creams instead and only prescribed it AFTER I used Clobetasol for 5 months, had severe itchiness, hyperpigment... read more
You fall sick. Either you will be passed off to another dr or urgent care. This happened to me many times. Both times I caught a bigger infection. Her PAs are terrific but the support staff she has answering the phone are patronizing and irresponsible to say the least. Dr. Coyle has patience and will listen to you without urging you to stop or even hint at it. Great lady. But, the problem is she won't see you when you are sick. Which is when you need the doctor.
