Alex was the quintessential wait staff for our birthday celebration last night. He and his team saw to it that dinner and service were equally fantabulous! I ordered lobster tail and prime rib...delicious beyond words. Thanks for the wonderful experience.
The food was tasteless. Even quality meat and seafood needs a little seasoning. I would not have known I was eating lobster, except for the texture. The salad would have been pitiful, but the blue cheese dressing could make cardboard appealing. It was outstanding. The blackberry cobbler was nothing more than compote with a little piece of baked off crust dropped on top. The breading or crust is what makes a cobbler so good. Was I at the same Angus Barn as all these other reviewers? It was one of the most disappointing dining experiences of my life! The steak was tasteless, the service was below average, I’ve always heard about this place and never visited, needless to say it was my first and last trip. I have had much better food at chain steakhouses at a much lower price point.
Ate there tonight with my girlfriend. I can honestly say that was the best restaurant I have ever eaten at. Very fast and courteous service. Would highly recommend to anyone. The food was outstanding.
