excellent food, superb service, reasonable prices – This is my favorite downtown Los Angeles restaurant for lunch. The food is excellent, the service superb, and the prices reasonable. I eat there about once a month and am always highly satisfied. I?ve taken out-of-town visitors there as well and they too think this is a great ?find.?
Italian food served with a smile! – I've actually eaten there several times and like it alot. They can get very busy during the day and may be understaffed, but the waitstaff is super friendly and they are hard workers. For a full service restaurant the prices can't be beat and the portions are large. I work downtown and its a nice place to go to get out of the office, have a glass of wine and enjoy some good Italian food. Bad food, Bad Service, Bad ETHICS! – The food was substandard, the service was worse, but the clincher was when they added the gratuity to the check without telling us! I asked what it was and was told it was a "hotel charge." Except that the restaurant has no affiliation to the Bonaventure or the Westin, so that is a bald-face lie! I later learned from a co-worker who used to go there that they added the 18% because my business associate, a German, had "an accent."
