Ate our 5 year anniversary dinner here. Had steaks that were great. Service was really good. Will eat here again when back in the area.
brought my neice down for dinner, she has never ate there. Was quickly seated and drinks were brought right over. Order was placed and came out quick for the number of people there (busy) Our waitress was great, Cindy, She checked back with us to see if we needed anything including refills. The food was great, we both had bacon cheeseburgers and fries.. My neice usually leaves food on her plate when done but she cleaned it off. Highly recommed for a good atmosphere and good food and excellent service. :)
The small prime rib is huge! The onion strings make a great appetizer.

My mom and I were first timers here yesterday. The weather was PERFECT so ate out on the deck. We both got the small catfish plate (I substituted my slaw for an extra hush puppy), salad, and unsweet tea. Our lunch was really good. The tea was refreshing (it had a great flavor, which is sadly not so common in a lot of restaurants). We will def eat here on our next road trip that takes us up this way. OH YEAH.... I don't remember our servers name (she's the really skinny lady), she seemed to have a genuine niceness to her.
Anglers White River Resort has excellent catfish. The staff are friendly and helpful. The reason I gave only three stars is the beds in the cabin were very uncomfortable and the heat didn't work the first night but they did furnish us a space heater the second night.
