We had to say goodbye to our big girl, Sadie. She was a very special 12-yr old Weimaraner, a big sister to Lucy (10-yr old Weim), and a warm companion to me, my husband Brandon, and our 3 boys (Jax 2, Eli 4, and Brady 6). We knew Sadie was slowing down and having a harder time, but she acutely developed a mass in her right groin/abdomen which caused her significant pain. This happened on Saturday evening. I called Angel’s Paws around 9:30AM to inquire about euthanizing our dog, Dixie. My vet recommended them and I wanted the euthanasia to occur ASAP, as Dixie was in pain and not doing well. Angel’s Paws reached out to me right away and scheduled the euthanasia for 3PM. What an incredible experience! They were so compassionate! An absolutely amazing organization. The entire staff is incredible and I have no idea what I would've done without them. They handled my Dozer's last day with such great care and concern from the comfort of his own home. I am so grateful to them. Nan, Dr. Nikki, and the sweet girl who took me back to the chapel to pick up Dozer's cremains, you are all wonderful ❤❤❤❤❤
