Whaddya waiting for? – Delicious, but slightly expensive. We had no wait due when we arrived for a late lunch around 2pm. The waiter, a very tall man, gave us "plenty" of time to decide on our food and drinks, but once we had him, he was superb. The host, a very small man, wasn't overly friendly and appeared to avoid us altogether. However, we weren't there to make friends. We wanted to eat, well and large. And, that we did with gusto. The calamari was juicy and tender with a light batter. The eggplant rottalini was stuffed ... read more

Best Pasta Ever – We go to Angelo's for pasta every Sunday afternoon. The food is always so delicious; especially the pasta. We've tried just about every pasta dish and my favorite is the Cappellini a la Angelo - however, the Fusili Bolognese, Linguini a la Vongole, and any daily special pasta is all so good! We eat healthily all week and save our appetites for our weekly Angelo's visit. I can't wait for Sunday!

VERY DISAPPOINTING..... – This was not my first time at Angelo. However, it will be my last. The Hot Antipasto dish was actually a sloppy mess. I could not differentiate what I was eating. Was It a Stuffed Pepper or Clam? I was totally confused. The wait staff were quite rude, especially one who actually accused me of insulting him. How dare he.. . I was shocked. No one came to apologize. I also left a decent tip. Why.... I'll never know. It's just the way I am. Angelo of Mulberry St. is no longer on my list of Little Italy ... read more

BEST ITALIAN FOOD EVER! – We love this place, hands down. We are from Cali and when we go to New York this is dinner one of the nights, regardless. Love the waiters - especially Bruno! Atmosphere is great, you feel like you are in Italy. Staff is wondeful, friendly land adorable with their accents (real accents too!). If you don't eat here you are just crazy...Have to try half moon ravioli - it is SPECTACULAR and my husband does the filet with marsala reduction with mushrooms! Very busy - so don't go hungry because this plac... read more

Excellent – Angelo's is excellent. There's a reason there's always a wait, the food is excellent, the atmosphere is a fun authentic Little Italy restaurant, and the service is excellent. There are a lot of places on Mulberry St, this is one of the best.

Horrible experience! – We made reservations 4 weeks in advance for 7:30pm on a Sat night. About 2wks in advance, we called to change them to 9:30pm. Then, 2 days before arriving in NYC, we called to confirm, and everything was supposedly OK. We show up at the right time, and there is no reservation. The host was incredibly rude. Not only did he not acknowledge their mistake, he actually called us liars! We went next door and had a lovely dinner (La Nonna) with none of the attitude. Good riddens Angelo's.

What a Joke – So we go to Angelo's Sat. Nov 3. and ask for a table for two. The host wedges into a back corner where there were 4 tables on top of each other...you couldn't move. We very politely asked of we could be seated elsewhere, there were no less than 4 tables open in the front dining area. Host rudely said no and snagged the menues back. When we got back to the front of the restaurant, my wife said are you sure you have nothing else? He said "you could have this table" referring to a table right near the front window... read more

A must see in New York – Everytime I go back home, I have to eat at New York's best Italian restaurant. I even went to the one in Florida when it was open. The food is a plus, the service is great and the atmosphere is fantastic. Don't expect to sit right away, but it is definitely worth the wait. I would suggest everyone to try this New York Landmark. Great food, nice size portions and they treat you like family.

Angelo's Mulberry street – Every visit to New York includes Angelo's. The food is the BEST and all the craziness with the host and the waiters is just great. We have NEVER been disappointed. We have waited, but if you go around 4 or 430 pm it is never a problem. If you want to be coddled maybe Angelo's isn't for you.
