I had trigger thumb, which Dr.Giuffrida diagnosed and gave me a cortisone shot. She was great about explaining everything and when that didn't work for me, we tried a second shot. She was patient about trying to avoid surgery with me. I eventually had the surgery to relieve the recurring pain, She was excellent before, during (I was awake!), and after. She's very professional. I felt comfortable.
My son sustained a very serious injury to his wrist and hand at while playing collegiate soccer. His trainer referred us to Dr. Giuffrida who was excellent all around. Dr. Giuffrida operated on my son's wrist and hand the day after our initial visit. It was a very serious injury and was urgent for my son to have the surgery done promptly. Dr. Giuffirda was very professional, never rushed us, and explained everything to us. Highly recommend. She is a great surgeon and doctor. Thanks Dr. G.
