I had a very positive first visit with Dr. Angela Kim. In addition to her excellent clinical knowledge and skill set, she is genuinely passionate about helping people. Her empathy and compassion are important traits to me. After that visit, I left feeling confident that she will be a strong advocate and partner in identifying any medical issues I might have, and she will be proactive in finding solutions.
I had a colonoscopy in 2022 which was normal. I got a new job and after insurance kicked in, I established care with Dr Angela Kim in May, 2024. I told her I was still having issues and requested a referral back to gastroenterology. She refused to write me a referral back to see a specialist due to the normal colonoscopy. She diagnosed me with IBS-C and prescribed me linzess, even though I told her I couldn’t tolerate that medication.
