About a year ago my husband had to have a MOHS procedure done prior to a skin graft. He has a metal plate in his leg underneath the area effected. The objective was sparing enough reissue over that plate to make sure the graft would take hold. His plastic surgeon had explained that he did not do MOHS so we contacted Dr. Egbers. Extremely grateful for a caring and very professional team. They introduce a friendly atmosphere, and are well trained for taking care of patients. The word "Cancer" alone is frightening, yet I felt confident at the consultation , during the procedures, and at the follow up visit. Thank you to Dr. Egbers and his whole team.
I had Mohs surgery done to remove a basil cell skin cancer from my nose. From the minute I stepped in the door I was treated with nothing but smiles, respect and concern for my well being throughout the whole procedure. My surgery ended up taking most of the day, 2 trips back to the chair for more Mohs after the first excision, but again, everyone made sure I was as comfortable as possible. I had Mohs surgery done here by Dr. Robert Egbers, and he did a fantastic job. I moved down to SC, and the Dermatologists here who removed my sutures were all highly impressed with the job Dr. Egbers did. They all said "Wow! What a great job he did!" Looking in a mirror now, you would never know that I just had surgery Oct. 29. The staff at the Anew Office was also wonderful. Thank you, Anew!
Highly professional and courteous staff. I had a basal cell removed from the side of my eye four weeks ago with a follow up the next day at Guthrie for closure. Everything went smoothly.
Dr. Egbers did a fantastic job removing a cancer spot from my nose that ultimately required a nasolabial flap. His level of skill and precision was remarkable along with his ability to make me feel at ease. Dr. Egbers is very thorough and took the time to answer all of my questions. I'd like to also give a special shout out to Misty who provided me with the tools needed to cope with the stress and anxiety of the operation. Her level of care and professionalism was exceptional and very comforting.
I was in this office today to have some skin cancer removed. Starting at the front desk, the girls were very pleasant and took great care of me. On to the nurse that took my history, she was a gem. Exp!aimed everything to me and gave me the numbing shots without a single pain. She had a great sense of humor. Then she made me very comfortable and told me how important it was NOT to move.
