0 stars. Horrific experience and complete lack of business ethics. I've been battling with this company for over 5 months and like others they are now threatening collections. They never sent a bill. I monitored my insurance records and reached out proactively. There is no way to get in contact with anyone who can help with billing issues or disputes. 0/0 terrible and unethical operation - they sent me a spamy text with a link to a medical bill. NEVER did I receive a bill via mail. Now I have a debt collector trying to charge me an interest.
OMG. Where do I begin? These people were notified MONTHS ago that their $1,218 billing was a mistake, and that they needed to put it on hold while Blue Shield re-did the E.O.B. (billing, basically) to reflect our policy's 20% copay. They sent it to a collections agency instead, which started piling on interest. On one of my many calls, I was promised on 6/23 that they would call the agency and have an "insurance hold" placed on the account. Terrible service! They used a Medical billing service from PerYourHealth which is irresponsible. You won't able to pay online. You can only mail them a check and know nothing will go on. You won't be able to contact them for support.
