My throat was raw meat even after 4 days post intubation. I only wish I could post picture of mouth and throat on this site but they are too gruesome.I have had several surgeries without the least problem with intubation. I feel like I was assaulted while unconscious. Why is he still at St Mary’s? Oh and while I was getting ready to go into surgery, he threw a hissy fit because I was getting a general not epidural. See above for his payback- St Mary’s let him go .i have permanent 😡paralyzed portion of throat from this

From Cheryl Cunningham Dr Gardner is the BEST. He is very very intelligent, listens to you, and treats you like a patient should be treated- with respect. Too bad he also didnt go into the gynecology field or I'd never be in the painful mess. But he helped me immensely and now I beleive there are some good docs who care.

I've seen Dr. Gardner many times for pain relief via epidural injections. Every time I've seen him he has been very thorough in assessing my condition so that the appropriate area is injected and I receive maximum relief. Although his bedside manner may not be the best he has always been very professional and I will return to him in the future. Overall Dr. Gardner is a very competent pain specialist.
