Billing company is a freakin joke.
Their billing company is horrible. If possible do not pay the “deposit” because they are still going to bill you for it again later or not have it in their system that you paid it. I called and had the problem fixed to where they sent me a refund and now I’m all of a sudden getting newer bills that are the amount of the refund. It makes zero sense and is an absolute pain to get in contact with anyone. I’m on my 3rd time fixing this issue with them now. Avoid their Affordify billing company if possible. Had an endoscopy at Drs Hospital end of March 2024. Was contacted in advance and asked to put a $250 deposit down on the procedural anesthesia, which I did. Over 2 months later, their billing company continually fails to answer their phone, and messages are not returned. I paid the remaining balance via contact with someone at the Anesthesia Consultants of Augusta office, which has appeared on the latest billing statement. I had an issue with my insurance not paying. Wendy was EXCEPTIONAL in helping me resolve this issue. She was very compassionate and patient oriented in her approach.
I did not even know I owed any money until I checked with my insurance company. I had to find out who they were and hunt them down for a bill. They never answer phone. Seems like a very sketchy company. Then after 6 months of hunting them down. I told them I will pay when I receive a bill. I received a very unprofessional looking bill that looks fake.
