I am being double billed by WellSpan and Anesthesia Associates of York for the same amount for the same service. AAY is using a third party administrator (TPA). I paid the amount due to WellSpan which now shows a $0.00 balance due. AAY is now sending collection notices for the same amount. When I called the two different numbers for AAY it was answered by representatives in the Philippines who could not provide adequate answers, merely expectations for payment. I don't leave Google Reviews. I am hoping this reaches them. We were billed for my wife's epidural. Fine. We are self-paid and so we started a payment plan. However, we thought to ask if there was any self-pay discount because this is often the case. My wife tried on several occasions to call the company and ask if this were true. (When I say several times, I mean that she was on hold until they hung up on her and told her she could not leave a message). Took way too long for my wife to get her epidural, when he arrived his first words were "oh COVID baby?", then we find out he provided too much which forced my wife to wait an extra two hours before being able to deliver. Guy was a complete square with zero personal skills.
