I grew up on gooey butter cake and was so excited to see Andy's is doing a gooey butter cake special. Unfortunately, we have no Andy's near us in SW Charlotte, so we made the trek to the Matthew's location to give them a try for the first time. I was going to get two pints to go. Excellent frozen custard, but wow, expensive. Staff was polite, but in my opinion they were _too_ generous with the ingredients in their Concrete (similar to a Blizzard or McFlurry), i.e., the ratio of soft serve to stuff added in was off. I wanted to appreciate their frozen custard more! Very limited parking on site, but a huge shopping center parking lot is a stone's throw away.

Every time we come here we can’t get a waffle cone with a scoop… why??? No one seems to be able to explain. Anyways, I was able to buy a waffle cone SEPERATELY, and then add the custard to it myself Customer service. My main complaint is we can’t order at the drive-thru menu, or ask questions at the drive thru menu that will help us decide. It’s not until you arrive at the drive thru window, that you can ask questions which sometimes they don’t know the answer to.
